First Aid
We provide the full range of the new Health & Safety Executive (HSE) Approved First Aid at Work courses, which provide the recognised qualifications which are legally required for the workplace and were introduced by the HSE from 1st October 2009.

Qualification Information
Upon successful completion of the HSE courses, first aiders receive certification to allow them to practice as a First Aider for three years, after which re-qualification is required.
The HSE strongly recommends that First Aider Skills are updated
by attending an HSE recommended annual refresher. As such we also provide both
the Annual Refresher Half day course (required by both the FAW and EFAW) and
also the formal two day Requalification course (for FAW at three years).

Entry Criteria
Both the FAW and EFAW courses are open to anyone and you do not need to have previous first aid knowledge or experience.
