Overview
The half-day annual refresher course is suitable for those staff who have completed either the three-day First Aid at Work or the one-day Emergency First Aid at Work courses and are complying with the annual update requirements.
This is a yearly opportunity to keep first aiders updated with reflection on their skills and knowledge and retain their qualification.
The syllabus includes:
- Managing Incidents
- Examination of a Casualty
- Unconsciousness
- Basic Life Support
- Control of Bleeding
- Treating shock
