Overview
Health & Safety Regulations (HASWA 1974) require that "all employees must take reasonable care for themselves and their colleagues in the workplace" and "employers have a legal obligation to their employees to have in place policies, procedures and trained personnel in order to meet legal requirements".
We offer two courses that are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), to address these needs and provide training for the employee and the employer (and/or their representative).

Outline of Programme
Health and Safety (H&S) Awareness is an essential responsibility of all employees, no matter what the business they are employed in. Employers have a responsibility to ensure all employees are trained (on induction and regularly) in the basics of H&S, so they can take care both for themselves and their colleagues. This awareness course is designed to cover this overview of H&S and Legislation requirements.

Qualification Information
Certification of Health and Safety Awareness to CIEH Level 1 - is awarded on completion of a brief and basic Multi-choice question (MCQ) paper. The Certificate holds validity for one year.
